Back-to-School Shopping: Pens, Notebooks, and CBD

    • Blog

Just about the time we settle into our summer routine of recreation, rest, and relaxation, it’s time to head back to school and hit the books once again. The back-to-school season can bring about a lot of fun and excitement, with new classes, new opportunities, and new friends. And nothing beats back-to-school shopping (and maybe picking up a colorful new set of gel pens) to set your academic year on the right path. But why not consider adding CBD (cannabidiol) to your supply list?

With the rush of excitement that going back to school can provide, we students can easily get lost in the chaos, and end up overwhelmed and stressed out. Oftentimes we don’t foresee our academic stressors coming, and so we are constantly reacting to the challenges thrown our way — whether it’s cramming for an exam, preparing for a presentation, or working on a group project. Why not try a proactive approach to stress management this year?

Incorporating CBD into your daily routine for the back-to-school season is an easy and safe way to manage stress. CBD offers many positive mental and physical effects, including regulating mood and sleep. Additionally, the calming effects of CBD can aid in increasing concentration and focus, which can help with studying and earning good grades. Different from the compound THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) found in marijuana, CBD is non-psychoactive — meaning it cannot make you “high.” Incorporating CBD into your routine can enhance your overall mental health and combat the stress of the academic year.

We all know our schedules can become crazy, and our to-do lists are often too long to manage. So, rather than crumbling under the pressure, we should turn to healthy methods to manage our response. Whether that means yoga, meditation, journaling, or CBD, it is important that we students choose healthy methods for dealing with our stress and centering ourselves.
