    The CBD industry has taken the world by storm in recent years. In 2017, CBD was valued as a $900 million industry, but predictions reveal it could become a $2.5 billion market by 2026. Knowing this, many are jumping to get in on the wealth by starting their own CBD companies.

    Starting a CBD business — or any business — is no small or easy task. One way you can help manage your business is by marketing based on the age groups or general demographics you are targeting. When it comes to CBD, a good approach is to determine which of CBD’s benefits best suit each age group, or to look at what subjects each group will relate to the most. Below are a few ideas about specific benefits to discuss and which audiences these benefits might attract. 

    Pain Management (40+ /Athletes)

    Topics can include joint pain, inflammation, arthritis, fibromyalgia, muscle soreness/recovery. You also can talk about CBD serving as an alternative to traditional pain medicines.

    This is an area that cuts across all age groups and can appeal to just about anyone. You can talk about how CBD can help with acne, sunburns, reducing facial inflammation, and managing skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema. Another intriguing topic in this category is the possible anti-aging effects of CBD.

    This is another very large area of interest. Discuss the use of CBD as an aid for pain, anxiety, and cancer discomfort for pets. Also, you can create a tutorial on how to make pet treats with CBD oil.

    Using these categories to brainstorm ideas can help you to design your content to attract a specific audience and market to them directly.
